# Your plan, usage and invoices

> Check your plan, buy Analyst credits, see your usage and download receipts.

## Open billing

Select your avatar at the bottom of the left-hand navigation, choose **Account**, then **Plan**, **Usage** or **Invoices**. Payments are handled by Stripe.

## Manage your plan

**Plan** shows when your trial ends or your subscription renews. Its button opens Stripe for whatever your plan needs next, such as adding a payment method or subscribing.

To change your card or cancel, select **Manage subscription**. If a payment fails, select **Update payment method** to restore access.

## Buy more Analyst credits

While you're subscribed, the **Monthly credits** bar on **Plan** shows how much of this period's allowance you've used and when it renews. Your balance of bought credits is shown below it.

1. On **Plan**, select **Buy usage credits**.
2. Choose a pack, then pay in Stripe.

## See where your usage went

**Usage** charts your Analyst spend over the current billing period. You can also view the past 24 hours or the whole year.

## Download a receipt

1. Open **Invoices**. Each payment is listed with its date and amount.
2. Select the download icon on the payment you need.

## Frequently asked questions

### How much does Sterling cost?

\$30 a month. The plan includes a \$30 Analyst allowance each billing period. Extra Analyst usage comes from credit packs.

### Do unused credits roll over?

The monthly allowance resets each billing period and doesn't carry over. Credits you buy don't expire and are used once the allowance is gone.

### Is the Analyst limited during the trial?

No credits are used during the seven-day trial. The limit of 100 messages an hour still applies.

### What happens when my trial ends?

With a payment method on file, your subscription starts automatically. If you haven't added a payment method, you need a subscription to keep using Sterling's research and tools. You can subscribe from **Plan**.
