# Creating your account

> Sign up with Google or an email address, verify the code, and start your trial.

1. Go to **app.sterlinglabs.co/sign-up**, or use the sign-up link in the sign-in window.
2. Select **Continue with Google**, or enter your email address, a username, your first and last name, and a password. Accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy with the checkbox on the form, then select **Continue**.
3. Enter the code Sterling emails you to verify your email address. You're signed in, and your seven-day trial starts.

## The client agreements

As an SEC-registered investment adviser, Sterling Labs asks you to accept five client agreements. The **Terms of Use** and **Privacy Policy** are accepted when you sign up. The **CRS**, **ADV Part 2A** and **Advisory Agreement** are presented when you start a subscription or connect a portfolio, and all three must be completed to continue. Each document has to be read to the end before it can be accepted. The agreements you've accepted can be read or downloaded later under **Agreements** in your [account settings](/account/manage-account).

## Frequently asked questions

Yes. Select your avatar at the bottom of the left-hand navigation, choose **Account**, then **Agreements**. Each accepted document is listed with its date and can be downloaded. See [Managing your account details](/account/manage-account).
