Every company Sterling covers has its own set of pages, reached by searching a ticker or name.

What the company pages can do

  • Get oriented in a minute. The Overview: price chart, Sterling’s target, the bull and bear debate, news, valuation and unusual trades.
  • Read the thesis. The full research report, its history, and the sources behind every section.
  • Check the numbers behind it. KPIs, ownership, peers and earnings, each on its own tab.
  • See what the price assumes. Priced In turns the current share price into the growth, horizon and multiple it implies.

Where to find it

Type the company’s name or ticker in Search companies at the top of the page. Wherever a company’s ticker appears as a badge, select it to open that company, if Sterling covers it. The company opens on its Overview, and the left-hand navigation gains three entries under its name: Overview, Research and Priced In. Every company page shares a header: the logo, ticker and name, the live price and change, and Sterling’s price target with the upside or downside to it. When an earnings call is today or tomorrow, a badge shows its time. While the call is live, the badge opens it.

Frequently asked questions

The company I searched for isn’t there.

Sterling covers a defined set of companies. When a search matches nothing, the results show Outside of current coverage with Request coverage for ”…” beneath it. Select it to ask Sterling to cover that company.

What does the price target mean?

Sterling’s view of where the stock should trade over the next three to six months, published with each research report and shown in the header against the current price.

Does the price in the header update live?

Yes, during the session. Outside it, the header shows the price At close, with any pre-market or after-hours move beside it.
